Our motto is simple: if we wouldn’t give it to our own pets, we wouldn’t create or stock it. Truffle put this to the test in the most unexpected way. During the final stages of developing Peterinary, she became seriously unwell and struggled to regain her strength, despite the incredible support of our local vets. With her weight dropping and her appetite fading, we faced our biggest challenge yet.

Peterinary wasn’t even due to launch — but Truffle had rejected every other hydrolysed diet option available. It was time to take the plunge and see if our toughest critic would approve. To our relief (and joy), she did — with a HUGE paws up. Within just two weeks, she gained back over a kilogram in bodyweight.

Truffle left us with no choice: Peterinary had to launch, and it couldn’t come soon enough. She proved to us that it really was possible to have a hydrolysed food that’s both nutritious and delicious — and now we’re proud to share it with you and your pets.
